Settings reference

What’s remembered

Brush sizes and strengths (per tool), falloff curves, pen and pressure settings, stroke settings, paint colour and swatches, symmetry, the pottery wheel, print settings, the clay look, lighting, matcaps, stamps, shortcuts and UI scale. They’re kept in settings.json in %USERPROFILE%\AppData\LocalLow\Shapeaway\Shapeaway.

Setting	Does
UI scale	90% to 150%, for high-resolution or small screens
Shortcuts	Rebind any action; clashes are flagged
Limits	The build and memory limits new and opened sculpts start with
Show welcome	Brings back the welcome card with the samples and tour
Take the tour	Starts the guided tour
Open autosave folder / log folder	Opens them in Explorer
Save a report…	Saves a zip for reporting a bug
Reset all settings	Back to the defaults; your sculpts are untouched
