Noise
Roughens the surface with a fine noise pattern: skin, stone, bark.
Shortcut: Shift + 5 · Toolbar: More brushes
How to use it
Section titled “How to use it”- Work at a low strength and build up.
- Best on a detail mesh, where it can be finer than the clay’s detail level.
- A very shallow noise reads as skin; deeper reads as stone or sand.
Modifiers
Section titled “Modifiers”| Hold | Effect |

| Ctrl or the pen’s eraser | Has no inverse. |
| Shift | Smooths for as long as you hold it. |
Size and strength: [ and ] (or Ctrl + mouse wheel) change the size, - and = the strength. With a pen, pressure sets both, through the pressure curve.
