Clay Strips
Lays flat strips of clay along the stroke, building form in layers the way you would with real clay strips.
Shortcut: Shift + 1 · Toolbar: More brushes
How to use it
Section titled “How to use it”- Build muscles and planes with criss-crossing strokes, then smooth.
- Strips are flat-topped, so they read as planes rather than blobs.
- Strip thickness follows the brush size.
Modifiers
Section titled “Modifiers”| Hold | Effect |
|---|---|
| Ctrl or the pen’s eraser | Cuts strips away instead. |
| Shift | Smooths for as long as you hold it. |
Size and strength: [ and ] (or Ctrl + mouse wheel) change the size, - and = the strength. With a pen, pressure sets both, through the pressure curve.
